This forum is way too broad in the number of sub forums. I HATE having to check the dates before I go into a sub forum. Really many of the forums can be combined which would bring the appearance of more threads/discussion.

So, what your saying is I should simply abandon using the computer and check the forums via my Blackberry?  You must work in the government.  Smiley

I'm going to bring back this thread from being half dead.  I agree we have a bit too many forum sections, some which aren't used.

My recommendations are to put the DFL section under the E-Sports section and give them 1 board.  Move the "Would you like to play a game..." to a sub board of "Games" under E-sports.  I would also like to see "house of ho's" board moved to the media part.

If the buttons don't change for you to let you know that there is a new post or you can't see the 'new' after the thread title then it probably isn't worth opening or you need to stop using IE.

Things could probably be cleaned and organized a bit but, I don't think anyone in the BOD has the time right now.  Keep it in mind and bump this in a month or so.   With just merging, trying to do some comp, recruitment, and ramp up for BC2 I can't be bothered with it right now but, I've got a few things (mainly updates) that are on the back burner and any rearrangement would best be tackled at that time.

E & I recently (within the last quarter) updated and redid the boards to the format that you see now.  DFL is remaining as it's own section; I may, however, move it lower on the list until another event is scheduled, and then bump it higher during event times.  We did try and have more sections so that users that wanted nothing to do with a certain section can simply click the little - button at the head of the section, which collapses that section.  Under E-Sports, Would you like to play a game is listed seperate so as to draw attention to it and prompt a more immediate responce to gaming together rather than simply talking about games.  In his absence, I will say that E wants these boards to be as open and versatile as possible so as to have an appeal to a broader audience; to that end, I resommend minimizing sections of which are of no interest to you.

I hope this clears things up a little, if not, then sorry.

Ok you made good points.  I will stick with minimizing sections I don't want to see.
