1. open task manager (ctrl alt delete)
2. Click Performance tab
3. Click Resource Monitor... button
4. Click on the Network tab
This is a list of what processes are using all your bandwidth. If nothing stands out your network/ISP might just suck
5. Remove wmpnetwk.exe
This is a process attached to windows media player that streams content over your network? Are you constantly streaming from your computer to your xbox via WMP? If no like 99.9% of windows users then stop it from eating up half your bandwidth.
6. Google any other process which may be specifically using up this all too precious resource.
I have been meaning to post this for a bit. Hope it helps some of you resolve long term issues.
